Cost
The pitch costs £40 per hour.
Some of this covers the cost of the floodlighting – the rest goes towards repairing the pitch and replacing it when eventually needed. It also contributes towards the running costs of the park.
Minimum hire period and paying in advance
The pitch is managed by a committee of volunteers who give their free time to look after the park and sports pitch.
Because of this, we need to make pitch hire as time-efficient as possible, so we ask that you hire the pitch for a minimum of 8 weeks and pay this money upfront by BACS. Unfortunately, refunds and cancellations are not possible after this has been paid.
How to hire the pitch
Email papasparkltd@gmail.com to find out about availability, letting us know what you intend to hire the pitch for.
Pay in advance for your sessions – a minimum of 8 weeks.
We will give you the code for the padlock on the double gates that lead onto the sports pitch.
If needed, the floodlights will automatically come on 5 minutes before your session starts and go off 5 minutes after it finishes.
Conditions of hire
No football studs please! This damages the pitch.
Please take any litter home with you (preferably) or use the bins provided.
Please report any problems with the pitch or the locks.
Please leave on time – there may be people waiting for the pitch after you.
